Apprenticeship Event – All Areas – Tuesday 26th June 2018

A free apprenticeship extravaganza for young people, schools, colleges and parents in Birmingham and Solihull, arranged by the UCB, Birmingham City Council and Birmingham and Solihull Training Provider Network, in collaboration with the Post 16 Forum, will be taking place on:

Tuesday 26th June 2018 from 2pm – 6.30pm 

Venue: UCB, McIntyre House, 2 Holland Street, Birmingham, B3 1PW

Come along and meet apprenticeship training providers, employers and universities across all sectors, offering training from Level 1 to degree level. Over 30 exhibitors are expected.

  • Real-time live opportunities and vacancies for young people to apply for
  • Workshop for young people – including tips and advice on how to apply, write a winning application and prepare for interviews
  • Seminars on higher and degree apprenticeships
  • Forums for teachers and CEIAG leaders in schools and colleges exploring apprenticeship pathways
  • Key information for parents, guardians and young people.

Schools and colleges are strongly encouraged to bring groups of young people between 2pm-4pm as part of their CEIAG programme. Careers advisers, careers leads and teachers are encouraged to attend the workshops as a CPD and learning activity.

YEI Providers and Intervention Workers may also attend with young people
